One of the most insightful events in this sector, the conference aimed at fostering dialogue, collaboration and innovation in using technical capabilities towards a more sustainable and resilient carbon-free future. The event brought together experts, policymakers and key industry leaders who addressed a wide range of interdisciplinary perspectives, essential for understanding the complex challenges and opportunities facing the energy sector nowadays. Some key topics:

▪ Romania's goal to reach carbon neutrality by 2050
▪ Romania’s 2030 RES target: approx 10 GW
State aids for the RES sector streamlined through two main channels: PNRR and the Modernisation Fund.
The ModernisationFund includes approved financing, among others:
▪   Eur 900 mn Eur for CE Oltenia projects
▪   Eur 2 bn for Transelectrica and Eur 1.3 bn for DSO(s)
