Today, our colleague, Daniel Marius Vlasceanu, was a speaker at the 2023 Romanian Solar Summit organized by GOVNET Romania, sharing the pannel with distinguished representatives of the authorities and investors in the RES industry.

Daniel addressed the grid, reinforcement works, one of the most pressing concerns that any RES investor is currently facing. In this cotext, Daniel presented several mitigations that are available to the investors for building their business case considering, in case of high reinforcement costs in the ATR, the advantages of building fast and benefitting of a potential recomputation of said costs.

The overall takeaways of the event are:
- the banks moved ahead with the hashtag#financing of RES projects and are keen on further receiving new applications;
- the signing of the hashtag#PNRR RES financing agreements is delayed, but not for long;
- the frequent and uncorrelated legal amendments bring challenges in the development process of RES projects;
- the investor's approach is more prudent, but the interest in investing in Romania is still very high.
