Once more, we are delighted to assist Econergy in building their exquisite Romanian renewable portfolio: a large 87 MW photovoltaic development project located in Parau,Brasov County (long hunted on the Romanian market) was closed. Construction activities will start in H1 2022. Along with the Ratesti Project (153 MW), which was closed less than three weeks ago, the closing of the Parau project supports Econergy’s target of 1.5 GW for Romania. ”It’s been a complex negotiation with a reputable developer. The main legal challenge came from the historical evolution of the project (originated under the first RES projects wave).
