VP advised Mr Marius Iliev and the group of companies partnering with him in the project during the sale of a wind project under development in Romania to a global player active in the renewable energy sector; the closing took place at the end of 2021. The wind project is located in Dobrogea County and has an approved capacity of 151MW.
“We are happy to have assisted the sellers in this transaction which will contribute to the robust development of large wind projects in Romania. The transaction entailed a long negotiation period which ultimately contributed to the alignment of the interests of the parties and compliance with specific project conditions. Adding this mandate to our existing portfolio of renewable projects strengthens our renewable practice and enables us to fully comprehend the perspective of a developer of such large wind projects”, said Loredana Vlăsceanu, the Partner in charge with the coordination of the project on behalf of Vlăsceanu & Partners.
